We are based in Toronto, Canada with an office in New York City and have in‐house development, permitting, engineering, and project finance teams which de-risks our solar projects and maximizes execution certainty. Our goal is to deliver solar projects through a community-based development approach that satisfies all stakeholders with the outcome.

Solar Project Development

OYA Solar engineering and development teams handle all regulatory, legal, environmental, logistical and technical aspects in our pipeline. Working with all stakeholders, we ensure that projects are financeable and reach operational.

Origination

We can source solar project opportunities at any stage of development using our three-pronged strategy. It combines in-house greenfield origination with pipeline opportunities from our sister companies and channel partner relationships across North America.

Construction

Once our projects are shovel-ready, we draw on strong relationships with multiple contractors and manufacturers across North America and globally. Our high-performance ratios and system uptime on our solar plants come from our own internal commissioning and quality assurance monitoring protocols.

Power Marketing

OYA Solar’s internal marketing team handles C&I power offtake (community solar subscription and Power Purchase agreements) to ensure all projects are fully subscribed.
